D'Artagnans' Fresh ORGANIC Turkeys

Only whole organic grains and pure spring water are fed to the birds: no protein supplements, added poultry or fish byproducts, no pesticides and herbicides. Additionally no antibiotics, no growth hormones, no arsenicals and no artificial light are permitted at any time.The result is a poultry with great flavor, tenderness and a 25% lower fat content than standard commercially raised turkey. Adherence to these principles led to the first approval by the USDA for "free range" labeling. It also led to Organic Certification in 1990 by the Northeast Organic Farmer’s Association.

The flavor from these birds in wonderful. One customer writes "Eleven of us had your organic fresh free range turkey for dinner this Thanksgiving and we all raved about the flavor and wonderful texture of the meat.
